What…is going on…

We drove to Rochester in bad weather today for Mike to have bloodwork and see acute care because he has been feeling terrible for over a week and a half. It all started two days after changing back to Blu 667 now approved and called Gravleto. Dr.Molina wanted to try switching cancer meds to see if the Gravleto would work better to shrink the brain METS. Mike started having a bad stomachache and diarrhea and then other symptoms started like headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, inability to focus or see well, his blood pressure drops upon standing, high heart rate, night time fever and sweats, nausea, cough, etc…etc…

Mike had bloodwork at our Floyd county hospital last week and again today at Mayo and nothing is showing up which is good, but we are wondering what is going on!?! After many phone calls and emails with the Mayo pharmacist and Dr. Molina they have agreed that Mike should hold the Gravleto until after his game knife/brain radiation procedure next Wednesday and then we will reevaluate. He took his last dose on Friday night the 25th, but so far has not felt any better (hence the trip to Mayo today).

Please pray for answers, that Mike starts feeling better, and that his gamma knife procedure goes perfectly! Thank you!
